I taught a unit on self-portrait where students expressed themselves in three different ways: through painting, pottery, and digital collage. They painted self-portraits to explore identity and emotions, made pottery bowls as a symbol of care and self-worth, and created digital collages to introduce themselves using images, text, and personal symbols. The goal was to help them reflect on who they are and express it through different mediums.
